This comprehensive training course is designed to prepare mental health professionals to become a Clinical Supervisor Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential, administered by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).
Participants will engage in a structured curriculum that covers the ten core areas of clinical supervision, roles and functions of clinical supervisors, theoretical frameworks and models of clinical supervision, supervisory relationship issues, methods and techniques for clinical supervision, group supervision, evaluation, remediation and gatekeeping in supervision, utilization of technology in clinical supervision, administrative procedures and responsibilities related to clinical supervision, legal and ethical issues and responsibilities in clinical supervision and culturally responsive clinical supervision. The course meets the CCE’s education requirement of 15 of the 45 required clock hours in clinical supervision.
